The sub-zero temperatures across the Midwest haven’t slowed things down in Branson, however Mother Nature did play a cruel trick on the Hamner Barber Theater Marquee Sign this past week when nearly all the white paint on the sides of the marquee dropped to the ground in tiny ribbons of dried paint all in one night. Some experts say it was a lack of primer applied to the metal structure. Others say it was the original sub-paint not being appropriate for the application. That’s all Home Depot talk as far as we’re concerned. We say it’s a chance to post something funny and give our sign company an opportunity to spruce things up with our new 2010 signage to be installed soon!

Here’s a mock-up of what our marquee sign will look like soon!
