Eddie R. Beesly is an extraordinary man, having survived a catastrophic injury as a Marine in Vietnam losing both his legs. His life story is the stuff of legends and we were privileged to meet Eddie and his wife Connie when they participated in this year’s Hand-In-Hand Branson Honors Purple Heart Recipients Celebration here at our Hamner Barber Theater in April sponsored by Branson.com and the Branson Tourism Center.

The Beesly’s posted some wonderful comments on their blog site regarding our magical, multimedia tribute to veterans and active military that we performed for the event. It’s the same tribute we exhibit each and every performance of the Hamner Barber Variety Show, however this particular event was made extra special by the participation of hundreds of wonderful Purple Heart recipients in attendence.
