Dalena Ditto at the Hamner Barber Theater in Branson!

The multi-talented country music singer and recording artist Dalena Ditto has performed throughout the world and for the past nine years has headlined her own popular variety show in Branson, Missouri.

Beginning in April of 2011, the beautiful and talented “2008″ Female Entertainer of the Year,” will be celebrating her 10th Season in Branson with a new production show at the 640-seat Hamner Barber Theater.

Born in Guthrie Center, Iowa, Dalena began her career on the road at the young age of three, traveling with her parents. Her father, known as “Tennessee Floyd” was a renowned performer with the Red Foley Show, Lil’ Jimmy Dickens, Johnny Cash and Ms. Minnie Pearl. Performing with her parents across the nation in over 300 school programs and corporate shows a year, Dalena grew to appreciate all types of music and entertainers.

Television appearances and winning awards highlighted her college career, as she majored in Broadcast Journalism and Music at Iowa State University. Dalena then became a morning anchor and evening beat reporter for ABC affiliate WOI-TV in Ames / DesMoines, Iowa. During that time, she was first runner-up in the Miss Iowa Pageant for the Miss America Program.

In 1990 Dalena moved to Nashville, Tennessee to launch her career of song writing, and recording. Her success there created opportunities to tour extensively across the USA and around the world including 55 countries on six continents in one year. She has shared the stage with legendary artists such as Mickey Gilley, Willie Nelson, Faith Hill, Johnny Lee, George Jones, Neil McCoy and Brian White to name a few.

Dalena has performed at major entertainment venues across the USA and Canada including the Grand Ole Opry and the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, TN, Cowboys in Dallas and Arlington, TX, Boulder Station in Las Vegas, NV, before President Bush in Springfield, MO, and in 2007 she was the featured entertainer at an exclusive White House Christmas Party in Washington, DC.

When not performing in Branson, Dalena has entertained on Cruise Ships in Europe, the Caribbean, Alaska and even Africa. For over 10 years she was a featured Headliner for Princess, Cunard, Crystal, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean and Silversea Cruise Lines.

Dalena’s television appearances include the Grand Ole Opry, ABC, CBS, CNN, The Vacation Channel, “The Penny Gilley Show” on RFD-TV and “On The Road with Al Rocker” on the Food Channel.

Her generosities include entertaining US Troops and military Veterans in Branson and around the country and donating her talents annually as a featured entertainer and co-host of Variety, the Children’s Charity Telethon in Iowa and Missouri.

For the past nine years, Dalena has produced one of the most talked about shows in Branson presenting timeless Classic Country Music of Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, Red Foley, Jimmy Wakely and more. Dalena adds plenty of variety to the show including 50′s and 60′s music, dancing and comedy guest appearances by “Minnie Pearl” and the “Soggy Baccon Boys.”

Dalena’s skills go beyond beauty and talent. Her business sense and producer abilities allow her to surround herself with remarkable talent, both on stage and behind the scenes. Each member of her band are some of the finest musicians anywhere including Branson’s “Guitarist of the Year” and “Bass Player of the Year.”
