THE HAMNERS FEATURED IN LINKING RING MAGAZINE ARTICLE

The Linking Ring, the official journal of the International Brotherhood of Magicians features a nice article by author Dennis Schick on the Hamner Barber Branson Experience. The six page article goes into a lengthy biographical look at the personal life and career of Dave Hamner and how a minister from California went on to be a partner in his own theater in Branson, Missouri; be recognized as the premier bird magician in the world; and become a creator of stunning magical illusions.

The article also discusses how Dave Hamner teamed up with his old friend Jim Barber to produce the Hamner Barber Variety Show and ultimately partnership as owners of the theater venue.

But when he decided to focus on the college circuit, he found that being a ventriloquist and comedian put him in a unique catagory, which got him more bookings.
