Akers & Arney Is Groovy Baby… Yeah!
Akers & Arney Insurance has once again featured ventriloquist Jim Barber and his wooden sidekick Seville in a new thirty second TV commercial. This fourth in a series of commercials for the Branson, Missouri based insurance agency also has Jim playing yet another character, posing as “Cheap Insurance Agent” Huston Towers (Get it? Not Austin Powers?).
As before, this commercial was written and directed by Jennifer McCullough and videotaped and edited by TVC Productions in Branson, Missouri. It will begin airing in the Branson – Springfield markets in September 2010.
Akers & Arney partner/owner David Arney joined Jim Barber (as “Huston Towers”) on the set of the commercial shoot and is holding a puppet character version of his agency partner/owner Ed Akers that Barber resently used for a performance at at the 2010 Branson Small Business Awards banquet sponsored by the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB.
